That’s a pretty cool word and gives me a surge of energy whenever I hear it. Seriously.

Pause for a moment and think about it.

What comes to mind when you hear that word?

What scenarios come to play?

Do you think about sports and the drive to win?

Maybe the latest action, adventure, or sci-fi/fantasy movie you’ve watched comes to mind, reminding you of the hero who would stop at nothing to finish his quest.

Perhaps you think of a protagonist in a crime television series. They never seem to pause their missions, do they?

Are you relentless?

Actually, the word came to mind because I picked up yet another great read, Relentless by Tim S. Grover. Yes, former trainer to none other than the legendary Michael Jordon.

A friend of mine recommended the book to me and I must admit, I was a bit excited when I realized the sports theme of the book.

Yes, I’m a huge sports fan, and actually worked in sports for four brilliant years. It was one of the most fun and rewarding experiences I’ve ever had.

The thrill and excitement when the team you’re rooting for pulls through at the last minute and wins the game or championship is priceless.

As a bonus here’s the link to one of my favorite college football games of all time, which took place in 2013, and the miracle play that took place during the last second. At least watch it to listen to the announcer freak out!

I still remember the giddy excitement, the feeling that anything is possible, because they just came through and won. Because your team was relentless.

Surprisingly, reading the first chapter “Don’t Think” had the same effect. I literally felt like I was in the locker room with my coach getting all pumped up for the game.

If you’re ready to feel that unstoppable feeling, I highly recommend grabbing a copy of Relentless and get ready. You’ll feel that motivation to push forward and become unstoppable. No matter what.

If you’re an avid reader, like myself, what are some of the good reads on your bookshelf this summer that encourage you to become unstoppable?
